Travel Information

Visitor resources are available from Explore Fairbanks.

Fairbanks has an international airport minutes from the university and is served by direct flights from the lower 48 states. In the summer there are also some direct flights from Europe (e.g. Condor Airlines).

Although Fairbanks has a public transit system, service is limited and is restricted to the city core. Uber just started in Alaska, and there are a number of taxi services. For participants staying at Pike's Waterfront Lodge, there will be a daily shuttle between the university and the hotel. Car rentals are available at the airport.
